I play mainly with blue, green, & black. But I find counter decks more effective than anything I've ever played with.

I luv MTG it's awesome I played every color now but All my decks are two color. Mainly my favorite is Black cause of all the death spells and life draining abillitys. Why bother attacking with monsters when you can just suck the life out of your opponents.

It's easy with the black/white guild in Guildpack, but I've seen a lot of terrible black decks. Besides, what good is draining life when your opponent's Darksteel Colosus kills you in two turns? Even worse, Form of the Dragon, and you can't hit him up for five in a single turn (which means you're not playing Corrupt).

Yeah, I'm actualy the best out of my friends (although they currently have decks that can beat me, as I haven't really played the past two blocks; they still come to me with rules questions, though) too, I know how that works. But I've played people a whole lot better than I, and I know that most people play blue, a lot of red is played, green, white, and black aren't played as often, although this all depends on the current Type 2 blocks (except the blue part, a ton of people play blue all the time, it's hard to beat a blue control deck). With the current Guildpack set, I see a white/blue/black deck as working quite well, the blue only really being used for countering, and the white and black for the (don't know guild name) cards for the actual damage.

FYI: The black and White guild name is Orzhov

Yes, I know it, Gruul, Dimir, and Izit now, and no one I know uses any of the others. Orzhov rocks the most, anyway. Next would have to be Izit, then Gruul, then all the stuff I don't know followed by Dimir. The blue/black just doesn't work the way they set it up.

I never realy tried the Ravnica series. But when it comes to Magic, I'm living under a rock.
