Commando rushed to the hospital window. He could hear shouting and shooting, and looked in horror to see Yoshimo's men pouring through the blown up gate and over to the main palace. From inside the palace guards were shooting the invaders, and they collapsed all over the garden. Some tried to run up the grand stairway to the palace but were hit and toppled down. The various other places in the district that were near Commandos were being attacked as well. Several UGFA generals who lived in them were reported dead, as well as their staff and guards. Just then an officer came to Commando.
Officer- Yoshimo isn't taking prisoners sir. We should get you out of here. A helicopter can swing by.
Commando- No. I have superior forces here.(Suddenly slamming fist against wall and raising voice) I want that traitors head on a spike even if I must do it myself!
Officer- Yes sir. What shall I do?
Commando- Yoshimo doesn't know I'm in the hospital. He thinks I have returned to the palace. Nevertheless, thats my favorite building in the empire and its only a few hundred yards away. Don't let Yoshimo destroy it. By the way, what are the casualties?
Officer- We have killed about 34 of Yoshimo's men, and we have lost 29 troops. However UGFA Generals Kluge and Cheng are among the dead.
Commando- How?
Officer- Kluge took a bullet to the head while commanding troops from a supposedly safe position. A sniper most likely.
Commando- And Cheng?
Officer- Wounded in his palace, then taken outside and beheaded with his own sword, by none other than Yoshimo.
Commando- That barbarian! Kill him now!
Officer(running off)- Yes your highness!
Commando returned to looking out e window. More rebels had been killed by UGFA gunners in the palace windows, as well as some flanking the side of the rebels. A UGFA light tank as on the premises as well, but its tread had been blown off by an RPG. Nevertheless, it was gunning down Yoshimo's men by the dozens.
