Why was there no Tales of Symphonia topic? It is the only recent RPG of very high quality ( I'm told FF 10-2 and 11 suck ). Does anyone else have the game? I have beaten it alredy. Although the box says 80 hours of gameplay, I beat it in less then 40.

You must have played an awful lot to have beaten it in half the time that is listed on the box. I've never played the game yet although it looks pretty good so I'll probably get it sometime.
And as for the other RPG's you mentioned I have Final Fantasy X-2 and I will admit it is an ok RPG but it's not the best I've played. I think the other FF games are better and there are some better RPG's out there.

It's a pretty cool, fun game. It is a great RPG and yes it is better then some of the other recent RPG titles. I think this game is on the best seller list. If not then it certainly should be.

Currently I am playing through the game again with about 15 built in cheats enabeled. My level 5 character has his best title in the game! Without AR! Yay me.
Any way, how would you rate the game Gamemaster?

by the way i have the same title, but with AR. i don't care about not cheating. you would probably say the same thing if you just tried FF7. u and i both have our own special undertaking and this is urs so stop bothering me about it.

I thik that sometimes games are better when you don't cheat. TOS is one of them. It is not much of a challenge, though.

I really wish I had something useful or funny to put here. But I don't.
...
Well...
Concerning RPGs, can anyone give me a relatively easy game (for the PS2 or PS) that is cheap and will get me hooked to RPGs? I know this isn't the right board but...

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. rpg's. uh yeah. right. easy. the best i can give you for easy rpgs is kingdom hearts, which is oddly addictive for its childish looks and idea behind it. don't worry though, the story line delves deeper than just finding micky and saving the multiverse. i hear dragon warrior is ok. final fantasy is great. don't play ffta, crystal crohnicles, X-2, or XI first though. those are all very, VERY crappy games, or so i'm told for X-2 and XI. x-play on g4tv gave both X-2 and XI a 4 out of 5. VII was great, but kinda hard for beginners, yoo many puzzles. and VIII was supposed to be great but hard to beat without cheating. if you are just looking for great ps games in general, Castelvania Symphonia of the Night. unlike all previous games named Castlevania, this is story about Alucard, Dracula's son. there are just so many twists, turns, and secrets, including three proven endings and one that no one has been able to prove (no one is saying, not even the producers) and life baka, this is more secretive than how to turn a sealed-j sword into a tsumakiri-j sword.
