Eh, I couldn't think of a better title. I could probably put this topic elsewheres but nah Ill just put it here. Basically you just vote for your favorite game. Every couple of days Ill post up 2 games and you vote for whatever one you like more. The winning game advances to the next round and the loser gets kicked out. I don't know how many games I will have in this competition. I'll eventually start topics like this for each system but for now it will just be a general thing with games from all consoles.
For Round 1 Battle 1 the battle is between the games-
Syphon Filter (PSOne)
vs
Metal Gear Solid (PSOne)
You may now cast your vote for which game you like better. Will gabe logan and syphon filter win? Or is solid snakes sneaking mission better?
I vote for Metal gear solid. It's a great action game and it does have a good deal of stealth to it as well. Lots of interesting bosses.
I have all the syphon filter games and theyre pretty good. Neither one of these 2 games have multiplayer but I think I prefer metal gear solid.
I dont know when the next round will be. Whenever enough people have voted for this then Ill start a new round.

Let's see............
Gabe Logan and syphon filter is a stealth action game.
Solid Snake and metal gear is a stealth action game.
They are both pretty good games even without multiplayer. They are both fun but I think metal gear solid is definitly more popular. Thus, I vote for metal gear solid.

metal gear solid wins hands down. Its one of the best series available and is really fun so of course it wins.

I think I see the pattern here...........
Ummmm you can guess what my vote is going to be for but if not then I vote for Metal Gear Solid! Yay. Its a great game and way better then syphon filter (well the original syphon filter) but MGS vs SF? MGS wins each round. If metal gear took on Syphon filter 2 or 3 maybe the syphon filters would win but metal gear is more popular.

Well im going to still keep this up. Looks like metal gear solid is going to win but ill keep this poll open. Im going to put up a second so you can still vote for this one or the second one or both.

For my vote its a tough one. I like the twisted metal series and I think Vigilante 8 is pretty cool too. I'm not really sure why but for some reason I didn't really like the original twisted metal or twisted metal 2 yet I really like twisted metal 3 and twisted metal 4. The graphics in vigilante 8 are better and I think vigilante 8 also has more levels and has an interesting little objective based system which is neat. I'm not sure but in my opinion I think Vigilante 8 was a little bit easier and twisted metal was slightly harder. And although I am not sure I think Vigilante 8 has more playable vehicles like I think 13 total characters including hidden ones and the original twisted metal has like 9 or 10 or something like that so I think that between the original twisted metal and the original vigilante 8, that I will vote for Vigilante 8.

Twisted Metal for me. Twisted Metal: Black was great even though it wasn't made by the same Developers as the PSOne originals. The additional Online version was good too. ;D
EDIT: I was told I could vote on the first, as well. In that case, I'm going with Metal Gear Solid.

Whoa the second battle is up? Where is the third battle? It's been like 2 and a half months kidgame. C'mon please update this. Put up round 3 please.
As for round 2 which I didn't vote in. I think I'm going for twisted metal. It is the original car combat game that started the whole game genre on equipping cars with guns and missiles and having them fight other cars. If it wasn't for that there wouldn't be other stuff like Vigilante 8 or that Rogue Trip game. Don't know why but I didn't really care all that much for Vigilante 8. So yes my vote is for Twisted metal.
