Though it has only been out for about 2 months, the XBox 360 still gets game of the year nominations. The question is, which game will you vote for?
I don't have a 360 yet. I've only played demos of Call of Duty 2 which is awesome. It looks pretty darned realistic. So I must vote for Call of Duty 2.

I'm with kid here. The CoD2 demo was amazing. If it has multi to half that level, it has a chance at Game of the Year.

BM now wonders why noone votes for PDZ. Its perfect dark. The 64 game was excellent and the 360 is darn good too. Lots of classic weapons returning and a few new ones in. I must vote for it.

From what I've heard about it, it takes a crazy number of shots to take someone out with a sniper rifle. That just isn't normal in any FPS. Then again, it could just be that the people I've talked to can't get headshots worth anything.

Now let's slow down a little here. Let's remember that it's only TWO MONTHS into 2006, and many games are on the way. Give it time.

Perfect Dark is good, but in my opinion Call of Duty 2 edges it out. COD2 is a great war game and one of the best. The graphics are superb and its a very fun game to play

I've played PDZ & CoD2 and both came pretty close, but in the end I liked PDZ better.

COD2 and PDZ are both awesome shooters definitely. But what about the excellent Project gotham racing 3? It has lots of great sports cars and theres a good sense of speed and all. One of my favorites.

Call of Duty 2 gets it. The graphics are outrageous and the game is extremely fun to play. Some parts of missions are very hard to get by. You can't just run in shooting as the enemies will be prepared. This is one game where you HAVE to take your time if you want to survive.

From the initial launch of 360 games there wasnt much of a choice. However there are quite a few games available now. From this though I'll go with Call of Duty. I've always liked the series. You cant just rush in with guns blazing as the enemy units will almost always overwhelm you and gun you down from every angle. It's a great shooter where you have to take your time, engaging 1 or 2 men at a time (preferably just one if possible) and taking them out. Sniping helps but you cant hold lots of weapons so you have to use the sniper rifles in large open areas. Up close, sub machine guns and grenades are handy.

hmm lets go with.......perfect dark. COD2 is good too. Though its not there, Quake 4 is alright, not as good as it could have been.
