A 6 cent jump... Tiny, compared to what happened Wendsday here in Atlanta. We had some gas stations selling regular at $6 a gallon. Most were from $3 to $3.50, though. It's too expensive. Day before it was 20 to 30 cents less.

In town its now $3.29 for a gallon of regular gas. Still too expensive. Them gas prices need to go down, not up. Actually speaking of $3.29 if I remember I think you can get a gallon of milk for that much. You can now get a gallon of gas for the same price as a gallon of milk. Crazy!

Biodiesel time. Buy a diesel car, and get it converted. A few weeks ago, biodiesel fuel was only 1 cent more expensive than gas. And that's only if you buy it. If you make it yourself, it is less than $1.50. Now, with gas prices higher, you can buy biodiesel fuel for under $3 a gallon. And that price isn't likely to go up anywhere near as fast as gas prices.
