DaBomb Arena Rules, and info 1. There aren't armies. You have people to help you, and small tribes of native people may fight, but generally there are no large-scale armed conflicts. Of course, fighting will play a large part in this arena. 2. This spear has pros and cons. You may want to destroy it, or sell it, or even use it. 3. The storyline is farfetched, but this is Tomb Raider. 4. My character is a rip off of Indiana Jones, or at least in the first scene he is. I'm unoriginal 5. The spear is in Crete, bur you'll be hopping all over the globe for answers. *** "The spear of Anuir was the weapon of choice for Zeus when he attacked the Titans," professor Rich "Da Bomb" Wilson explained to his class, "He banished the Titans to Tartarus with the help of the spear, and even now people search for the prized relic." One of his most promising student put up his hand. "A simple spear?" he asked, "How could it be used against the Titans?" Rich nodded, and seated himself. "It could control anyone it pierced the heart of," he replied, "Zeus convinced the Titans to leave by using the spear." "And people thinks it still exists?" one student chuckled. "Yes. Some people still do." *** Da Bomb met with his pilot at a dusty and almost desolate airport, and within minutes they were flying to Japan, where a shady organization was using a mining operation as a front for an excavation in an attempt to find the spear. There were other factions and organizations, too, looking for the spear; Rich hoped he would get it first. He cocked his shotgun and trusty pistols as the plane sailed through the air across the the Orient.

Kid was a member of the shady organization that was mining at an excavation site. He had been digging for hours looking for clues or any sign of the spear but found nothing. None of his coworkers found anything either. The foremen and group leaders kept close watch on all the workers making sure they didn't stop and take a break. After all the spear was an important item they needed to get. Kidgame himself was one of the foremen group leaders and was in command of a group of six other people. He was a nice man and wasn't as cruel as the other foremen who whipped or beat the workers when they slowed down. He respected his workers and also helped a lot himself. When a worker stopped working kid calmly walked over and said that it was ok to rest for a minute or two but to get back to work soon. For this his workers respected kid and liked him as a friend and didn't complain much.
The excavation site had been set up for over a day and had found no clues or information. All that was there was a bunch of holes where everyone had dug but found nothing. Everyone was becoming anxious and excited as to who would find the spear or a clue to it's whereabouts or when it would be found. Everyone kept working and digging looking for information.
Kid got out his satellite cell phone and dialed his friend, DaBomb.
Kid- "Hey DaBomb are you coming or not. Our organization has been here for over a day already and you haven't arrived yet. You run into any problems? Hope you get here soon. Our organization is the biggest here so you should find us easily. We have all been digging nonstop and haven't found anything yet. No sign of the spear and no clues as to it's location. All that we have are a bunch of holes in the ground."
DaBomb- "I'm on a plane right now heading over there. I should be there within an hour or so. We just crossed over the borderline. Sad to hear that you haven't heard anything yet but hopefully we'll get the spear."
Kid- "We will get that spear. Like I said earlier, our organization is the biggest one here. All the others are small and hopefully they will never find it. We must find it as it will proove to be a valuable asset."
DaBomb- "Ok. I don't want to hold you up much longer though. You should get back to digging. I'll meet you in around an hour. Goodbye kid."
Kid- "Alright goodbye. I'll see you later."
Kid turned off his cell phone and then continued digging. It was long and tiresome but it was still noontime so they still had at least seven hours of daylight left before it even started to get dark. Would kid's organization be able to find the spear before darkness fell and before the other smaller and weaker organizations got it?

Kid paid his workers fairly, and treated them with more respect than they would find in similar occupations, but not all were happy digging, chisteling and shoveling in the burning sun for hours. Jefar was one such worker, who had been paid off by the oil drilling company to quietly remove the spear and give it to them...for a large sum and a beachview property. Another worker was Azis, one who had been paid by an archaological organization to steal the spear and sabotage any other faction's efforts.
Kid, of course, was not oblivious to this, but so far his checks of every worker had not led him anywhere. DB approached...

The workers continued digging searching for the spear or any signs of it for that matter. They still found nothing and it was now around 3:30 pm. They decided to take a quick lunch break and make cheeseburgers on kid's portable grill and portable generator. The burgers were good of course and soon everyone was filled with energy and wanted to get back to work. First though everyone had a can of soda since they were also parched. Before digging though kid gave everyone some sunscreen and sunblock and told his workers to put it on since it would help block out the sun a little. Afterwards everyone got their shovels and continued digging as did kidgame.
Meanwhile DaBomb's airplane had landed about 5 miles away at a small nearby airport. He was escorted off of the plane with his belongings and led to a waiting jeep. He put his things inside and got in the passenger side. The driver of course knew the destination was about 15 minutes away at the nearby mining area but didn't know what everyone was looking for. Anyways he started up the engine and drove off towards the digging area.

"We've found something!" a worker yelled, "I have found something!"
D, upon hearing this, dropping his luggage and bolted toward the workers, pushing his way through the crowd toward this new find. He was handed a candle, and was led to a small cave in the dark mine. Kid was already there, staring at a dusty box.
"Open it!" Kid ordered. His workers began to dust off the long box and slowly pry it open. Finally it creaked upon, revealing nothing but a small partchment. "What?" Kid growled, "Is there anything else inside?"
His workers shook their heads.
"What does the partchment say?" asked Rich/DB.
Kid lifted it from the case, and blew off the dust. He held it to DB's candle. "It is written is hieroglyphs," he whispered, "I can't read it."
DB took the page. "There is much damage to this piece of patchment," he sighed, "It says something about....the next clue is buried...16 miles South of here....or maybe it is 116 miles..."
"Damn," kid cursed, "I'll begin another operation then."

Damn it! Kid shouted.
He stormed off at of the cave. He ordered his workers to bring the chest to the ground level above. When they did kid grabbed the chest and took it to his vehicle and locked it in the trunk. Sixteen, or one hundred sixteen. It was just way too far to travel and for what another clue?
It was getting close to night time as the sun was about to set. The tents were all pitched already. Some people were tired from that days work so they went in their tents to sleep. Most though stayed outside and started a campfire with the wood they brought. Some who were skilled in cooking got out some pots and pans and decided to cook some meets over the fire. Another hooked up the small portable grill to the portable generator and made some burgers.
The day was long and everyone was exhausted but at least they finally found a clue after all that time. Everyone just decided to relax and eat then go to sleep. They would pack up in the morning and head 16 miles south of here and set up camp there to hopefully find the spear.
Alright listen up to everyone that is still here. I know today was a long and exhausting day. I'm sure the next few days and weeks will too but they will stay like this until we find the spear. As long as you all stay loyal to me you will all get extra money and pay raises and benefits and stuff. Now it is getting late so let's just relax while we can and eat as I know we are all hungry. Tomorrow when we all get up we will pack up everything in our vehicles and then head 16 miles south of here where we will set up camp and try to find the next clue. Hopefully though it will be the spear but I have a feeling we have several more clues to find. But for now lets all enjoy ourselves while we can. Kid said.

As the fires of the camp burned down, and the people began to go to sleep, several figures emerged from the darkness, wanting to steal the partchment and hinder Kid's efforts. 6 of the 10 thugs took out their weapons and scurried about the camp, while the others looked for the partchment. Little did they know it was inside Kid's tent..
