Got it in my collection. Yesterday. I was gonna play it last night but my psp battery was dead so i let it charge overnight. Played for about an hour this morning. Been playing a few hours since I got home from school.
I'm done with the Viscenzo missions (so far, I heard there is more later) and just finished the JD O Toole missions (Think i spelled that right)
Basically this is a portable version of grand theft auto 3. But with a new storyline. The two new minigames I've found so far is "Trash Dash" with the Garbage trucks where you go around the city grabbing dumpsters. This just gives you money no assets or anything.
The second one is "Car Salesman". Back in GTA3 in Portland, in the Harwood area there was a car crusher. Right before that was a car dealership. In GTA3 you couldnt do anything other then take the cars that sometimes spawned there. Well now between 8:00 and 18:00 game time you can do the Car Salesman missions.
In these you try to sell cars. I don't know how many you sell per level I'm still on the first level. For the first level though I have to sell 4 cars. Each is different and the customers are too. You can select which car to sell by getting in the driver side. The customer who wants the car gets in the passenger and basically you have to drive around to impress them. You have to do certain things in order to impress them though. Heres what I did so far. what cars and how to sell them. Successfully getting the customer interested in the car will tell you to get back to the dealership to finalize the deal. Just drive in the marker and you get out and the customer buys the car. This gets you some money plus a time bonus to continue.
Eventually if I get motivated enough I may make a little guide for this game. Not for my current game though since I have progress already. Maybe I'll start another game (you can have 8 save games) and as I beat missions I'll make a guide topic and post some strategies for each mission. The car salesman stuff I will put in the guide topic too. Anyways.
The first vehicle I got was the Patriot. A nice hummer. I had to go offroad so I drove near the car crusher in the sandy area and just drove in circles, back and forth, did some donuts as best as I could. Eventually it told me to go back.
Second vehicle was easy. Some old man wanted to buy a car. It was a perennial. They have been in all the GTA games (next gen ones, so GTA3, Vice city, SA). They are pretty slow vehicles and can be decent downhill though. The old man said he wanted a nice slow car since his operation. Easy enough since the perennial is slow. So I press the X button to go and let it coast, press again, etc. Not even driven 2 blocks and the man wants the car.
Third car, didn't pay attention to what it was. It's a 2 door though. A 2 door muscle car. I'll find out the name later since I've seen them driving everywheres. The lady wanted somthing that was tough to chase. Well in order to impress the lady I had to run over pedestrians. It was a bit odd but after running over (not killing) 20 or so I sold that car.
Fourth and final level 1 vehicle- It didn't show the name and I was paying attention. I'll find out the name later and post it here. Anyways its a 2 door sports car. Basically the guy wants a nice fast car. Easy with this I think its like the Banshee or something not sure. I'll check and edit this later. Another car sold.
