Welcome to the NEW snowball fight arena. This is the 2005 edition and will remain all winter long and into spring of next year. The arena will be (hopefully) bigger and definitely better. The location is different and there will be new features.
This years starting location is a small mountain. Everyone starts on different spots on the mountain. There are some small paths and ledges, big wide open paths, areas and ledges, and a big extensive cave network inside. Make your snowballs and fight where you want.
Current New Features- Random events. Every couple of posts a random event will occur. I will edit a random post and the event will be in red. It could be anything at all. Perhaps a weapon appears in front of you, more ammo or something good. However you could lose your weapons from the events, or something very bad could happen. I have some good ideas planned for this so be on the lookout.
Top of the Mountain- On the top of the mountain is a big circular arena. The top is completely flat and there is an interesting object hidden up there. If you can find the secret way to the top of the mountain (Hidden, secret at first. MIGHT open up during a random event).
Rumor has it that there was once an ancient AVALANCHE MACHINE up there at one point. Rumor has it that it is very powerful and when activated causes an avalanche on the whole mountain. The only safe spot is the flat area on top of the mountain.
However that is only a rumor. The machine probably doesn't even exist, so its probably just a waste of time even trying to get up there. However it would provide a good vantage point down the mountain (At least not during a snowstorm).
Bots- There will now be bots and sims participating in the arena of their own free will. They will be spawned during some random events and have their own personalities. Some are weak, some strong. Only one way to find out is to fight.
Thats it for now. Anything else will be added later. Now lets get this fight on.

Kid had been out mountain climbing when the big snow storm hit. He had no choice but to hide in a cave he found. He found some sticks and rocks inside so he made a nice warm fire. This was, of course, deep inside the cave away from the entrance. Surprisingly it was rather warm so kid just sat by the fire. He wondered if the raging snowstorm outside would ever stop, or at least slow down enough to escape.
He had limited supplies which included: Hot Chocolate, Wood/Sticks, Matches/Lighters, Lantern w/ extra fuel, Small Blanket, Watch, tiny portable television, Extra set of clothes, and several books and magazines to read.
Since he was trapped here for a while he got out his book and began to read.

DB was a treasure hunter, and had tracked an ancient device to a small mountain chain. He wasn't sure exactly where it was located, or whom else was after it. All he knew was that he needed to find it.
Armed with a flamethrower, and holding 3 flares, a taser and a low powered sniper rifle (high powered ones could cause avalanches), he clambered up the mountain...

Update- If an avalanche does occur for whatever reason, you will be safe if you are in a cave. If you are inside the mountains caves then you are safe. If your outside though you will get covered and snow and will die, but a random event might occur and you could survive. Otherwise the snow burries and kills you and you respawn (after the snow disappears) and must continue on again.
Also, forgot to mention that kid also has a laptop computer.

Kid continued reading his book. He finished and soon grew bored. He took out his laptop and began surfing the internet. When he grew bored of that he played some Counterstrike. Eventually he decided to save battery power and turned it off. He was a bit hungry so he took out some potato chips and ate some.
He then decides to get up and see how it is outside. He walks out to the mouth of the cave and sees that the snow has calmed down. Then it suddenly stopped snowing entirely. So kid packed up his stuff and continued hiking up the mountain. He brought everything and left nothing. However, he forgot about his fire. The fire was still going strong, burning up the wood and sticks near it, and the lighter fuel that had been dumped on it. If anyone else came by they would know someone was here.
Luckily the snow wasn't too deep where kid was. The path he was on was nice and wide. It was safe too as he saw no signs of life so he continued onwards.

Sam and his friend Battlemeister decided that today was the day they went to the top of the mountain. They always talked about it, but never did. There were stories and rumors about the mountain being extremely dangerous especially as you got closer to the top. The mountain also had frequent avalanches.
So Sam and BM got their backpacks and filled it full of useful gear and equipment. They made sure to bring signal flares and walkie talkies to contact each other. They also brought guns and weapons with them in case they ran into trouble.
Once they were ready they drove up to the mountain and stopped before they were there. They walked the rest of the way and then immediately began their long trek up the mountain.

Life, a carreer soldier, had some extra R&R this year. He decided to spend it climbing the mountain, and probably skiing down it, too. So, he set off up the mountain, bringing with him some basic survival gear (i.e. food, pocket knife, matches, etc.), snowshoes, a tent, some skis, and a keroseen lantern (with extra keroseen, of course).
About halfway up the mountain, a huge blizzard hit, and life was forced to find shelter in a nearby cave. Inside, he build a small fire from wood that had blown in. After that, he began carving a small spear, in case the storm ran him out of supplies.
RANDOM EVENT!
Lifebaka finds a loaded Glock 17 handgun. It has just one clip of ammo, which has 10 bullets in it.

Kidgame is walking up the mountain when the blizzard hits. He decides to keep climbing the mountain. After about 10 more minutes of mountain climbing he finds another cave. So he runs inside the cave and waits for the blizzard to calm down or disappear altogether.

DB was hit by the blizzard, but tried to struggle on through the whirling snow. Eventually, he realised he would have to stop until the blizzard cleared. He began creating a small wall of snow, and lay down behind it.
RANDOM EVENT!
DaBomb gets hit by 10 snowballs that came from out of nowheres!

Kid sits in the new cave slightly higher up on the mountain. He watches the cave entrance and the blizzard raging on outside. He hopes it stops. Luckily he is sitting next to a nice warm fire he made with all the wood he found in the cave. Suddenly he knows what he must do. He reaches in his backpack and pulls out.........a pack of marshmellows! He grabs a nearby stick and puts some marshmellows on the pointy ends. He then holds the stick and marshmellows to melt them so he can eat them.
Random Event!
Out of the corner of his eyes kid spots a Flashbang grenade on the ground. He takes it and adds it to his backpack.

DB was hit by the snowballs out of the blue. They weren't able to hurt him, but they did make him colder and wetter. He began to shiver...

Just so you know, the best way to cook marshmellows for smores and stuff is to catch them on fire, then immediatly put them out. That way they're perfect on the inside. But they sort of have a burnt crust over that part.
Life, on a whim, decides to explore deeper into the cave. He piles some extra wood on the fire, picks up his flashlight, and walks a little ways deeper in. Seeing nothing of interest, but noting that the cave seems to be part of a network, he moves back to his fire.

It had only been several minutes before the blizzard hit. Sam and BM were slowly making their way up the mountain and were getting hit by snow. Suddenly as they looked ahead they saw a small little wall of snow and what appeared to be someone laying behind it. The person hadn't noticed them - Yet.
Thinking it was an enemy, Sam and BM take out their 12 gauge Shotguns and fire some shells at the person on the ground. The shotguns made loud noises as they discharged their shells. Of course anyone on or even near the mountain could be alerted and would hear the shots. What would happen now? Would the other person return fire or run away?
RANDOM EVENT!
Shortly after the loud noise, the mountain begins to rumble. If the noise continues an avalanche will definitely occur. However, if things quiet down it just might NOT occur.

BM followed Sam up the mountain and was surprised when Sam told him to take out his shotgun. He wondered why they both had their shotguns out in the middle of a blizzard. He soon saw why- someone up ahead. The fighting spirit in BM wanted to kill, yet he also wanted to know who that was and why.
However, Sam gave the order to fire so BM did as he was told and fired at the person behind the snow wall. He then thought of something. The shotguns were loud and would alert everyone in the area. That other person could be better armed and might kill him and Sam faster then they could kill him. Worse, the loudness of the shotguns could cause an avalanche and kill everyone instantly. BM just hoped that no avalanche would occur.

Nice move. Ever heard of an avalanche? I'm pretty sure that's gonna cause one.
Life hears the gunshots in the distance, and begins wondering just what he'd gotten himself into by coming here. I mean, you don't hear gunshots on normal mountains...
Life's musings were cut short as a loud rumbling began. Life, fearing the worst, grabbed his bag, spear, and knife, and began to run farther into the cave. As he ran, he got out his flashlight, and a flare gun.

DB had been grazed in the shoulder, the forearm and his hip. His injuries were concern him little at that moment, as he was more frightened by the possibility of an avalanche.
He pulled out his low-powered sniper rifle and attatched it's silenecer to lessen the noise. He leaped over his wall of snow, away from his enemies, and began to fire.

While he was eating his marshmellows, kid hears Shotgun blasts in the distance. He begins to worry and wonder whats happening. Suddenly, the mountain begins to rumble and vibrate.
"Great. Whoever fired those shotguns is causing an avalanche. Now anyone here is gonna die unless in a cave." Kid thought to himself.
He then gets up, grabs his belongings and runs deeped into the cave, hoping that the avalanche won't affect him.
RANDOM EVENT!
It's a miracle! The mountain stops rumbling- for now. It appears that the quietness of things has calmed things down. However any more loud noises will almost certainly cause the avalanche.
EXTRA RANDOM EVENT!
An Easysim enters the mountain. It is armed with a silenced 9mm bareta, a silenced Tec-9 submachine gun, and 3 flashbang grenades. It also has basic survival items. It appears on the other side of DaBombs snow wall.
The Easysim spots DaBomb!
Easysim takes out it's Tec9 Submachine gun and opens fire on DaBomb!

This can't be good. It's gonna use some grenades, and cause an avalanche, right?
Life slows down, as he hears the prospective avanlanche stop. He looks behind him, and suddenly realizes he has no idea where he is. "Figures..." he mumbles, as he tries to see if he can spot his fire. Getting an idea, he turns off his flashlight, and is plunged into darkness. As he cannot see the light from his fire, he turns his flashlight back on, and begins walking around randomly.

No actually it will only use the flashbangs as a last resort but they are a silenced one. They only let out a flash to blind and do not emit any noise.

It gets rather dark so kid takes his flashlight out and looks around in the darkness. He sees nothing much besides rather bare walls. He comes up to a fork in the road. He could go left or right. So he decides to try going left.
RANDOM EVENT!
Lifebaka hears a low growling sound behind him. Oh dear, it couldn't possibly be a WOLF or MOUNTAIN LION that are native to this area could it?

Oh crap. See why I don't like randomness? At least the Randomizer gets cool stuff like pistols that shoot bastard swords.
Life takes out his Glock, and aims it in the direction the sound came from. As he flexes his trigger finger, he begins to slowly walk backwards. Worst case scenario, I get some more food, right?

Kid walks down the left tunnel of the cave. It happens to be a rather long straight tunnel. He keeps on walking and walking when suddenly he hears a handgun shot in the distance. Kid was guessing it was some kind of glock or something. He then hears something yelp.
He then draws his own Baretta 9mm handgun and runs off to the source of the sounds. He shines his flashlight all around and spots another person up ahead. It looks like the person had shot at and killed a cave wolf. Kid runs up to the other person.
"Hey what the heck are you doing in this cave? It's dangerous in here. You better hope that wolf is alone. If it is in a pack then expect more wolves to come running to the source of the gunshots. By the way, I'm kidgame. We should team up or something. I have many supplies that I could share with you, if you need them." kid said to the person. He then waited for a reply. Would the other person team up with him or would he attack kid? After all kid was harmless however he did have a gun and offered to share them with the other person if he accepted an alliance.
