Ok this is the guide to all of the available buildings for out little Medieval arena. Pretty much everything here I got from the age of chaos webgame (www.chaoticage.com). The necessary requirements to build each will be listed. If the building requires you to build other buildings that will be listed here. If the building allows you to build other stuff it's listed here. If the building gives you new workers or a new military unit that will also be listed here. If the building gives a job bonus to certain workers then that will also be listed here. Also any magical abilities the building may grant will also be stated here.
Ok, I am going to have to change this. I had to delete the other post and I need to modify this one. I can't use the information from chaotic age as the building information always changes and the requirements and resources needed to build each building is different all the time. So I'll have to come up with my own system for this. I'll have to make up my own buildings and my own requirements needed for using the buildings and what units and powers they grant.
UPDATE- April 6, 2005- Deleted what was on here. Yep current buildings went goodbye but it is temporary. I found a better way to do this. Everything will come back up and the way I was putting things up, I was getting confused by something. Yes you will see all available buildings up here though. Keep checking.

You know what that way was too advanced. Im just gonna go with my original plan. I'm gonna just make up some buildings and all so we can just get this thing started. As for building costs well I dont know we will determine that as we go along. For now though it will go by posts. Once you say you will start building something then on my next post or something I will have a list of who is building and what and when it will be finished. You'll get the effects of the building when I say "your name" has finished construction of building name whereas name is your username building name is the building you are building. Resource wise we will still trade those basic resources. Gold, Cloth, Silver, Ore, and all that other stuff.
Oh and yes more stuff will be added. This here is only like 5 buildings and there isn't going to be that much activity I dont think. So I will leave it at this for now. I will add in more buildings later. Also I will start up the actual first medieval battle arena.
CONSTRUCTION YARD- The heard of any army. Well any army that wants to make buildings to become even stronger. You NEED this if you want to get advanced units. Actually you need this if you even want to get anything done. If it gets destroyed well then you can't build anything else. Build it and protect it well. Building time- 5 turns (posts)
BARRACKS - Allows you to train basic militia men. They may be weak but there is strength in numbers. Train lots of militia men and you have a good defense for your new base. Build more and attack your opponents base! You can attack anytime you want as long as you have any military force. The barracks itself has weak armor so it can be destroyed easily. You may want to train militia men to protect it just to be safe. Building time- 6 posts Cost to train 1 basic militia man- $500
FARM - A basic farm. You can grow food and vegetables here. You may not be able to plant and grow everything but most of the basics you can plant here. You will need the plantation or an advanced farm in order for some of the better foods. Each turn you get a small amount of food you can do what you want with. Give it to your army to keep them in fighting shape, give it to peasants to keep morale up, save it up for later or trade it. Or just throw it out but why do that? Your army and peasants and of course you, need food to survive otherwise your people slowly die of starvation. Building time- 6 posts
ADVANCED FARM - A bigger and more advanced farm. Just by building it you will automatically get some tools in order to harvest the food. You can plant anything here and harvest it. Since it is a bigger farm you wont need to waste time and space building smaller ones. Some tools you get are shovels, a wheelbarrow, and a plow. Building Time- 8 posts
DITCH - A small ditch that can hold water. Your farms will most likely need water especially during the dry seasons. If it rains then your farm gets watered and your ditch gets filled but how full depends on how long it rains. You don't have to build a ditch but if you dont then you have to really heavily on rainfall. You may of course scout the area for local lakes and take water from them. Of course the water is in a ditch it doesnt just water the farm plants and food. You need buckets and people to fill the buckets with water and have them dump it on the farm. Building time- 7 posts

School This building allows you to train and hire teachers. They are just that- teachers. They teach your peasants about different jobs and also slightly raise their skill levels making them more productive. This may also raise morale, making your workers happier and work with less complaints. The more teachers you hire the more things they teach and the more they raise morale and skills. It costs $1,000 to hire 1 teacher. Teachers will of course stay loyal to you. They stay with you until they die or get killed or whatever or if they get sick. They have weak minds so if your opponents have psychic technology then they may be able to take control of your teachers. If an enemy takes control of your teacher your teacher then teaches about your opponent and there is a chance that they will cause a rebellion or a revolt and have your own units attack you. They may also convert and join your opponents army. Building time- 10 posts Cost to hire 1 teacher- $1,000

MINE- The mine gives you an ore mine and lets you train your peasants to be miners. You get 1 free mine cart thats it. You may buy more from the trade exchange or build your own. The mine lets your miners work in the mines to get valuable ore. The ore can later on be taken to the ARMORY to make armor, or the BLACKSMITH to make weapons. Or you can sell it to make money. Most ore is valuable. It is rare but you may also find gold in the mines on extremely rare occasions. You may also uncover mystery boxes. Building Time- 8 posts Benefits- 1 free Mine Cart, 10 free helmets with lights, 10 free Pickaxes. (You may purchase more from the trade exchange and shops when they open.)

Library- The library is a house of books and a place for basic research. Here you can have peasants study to become better at their jobs. You can also try and research an ability or weapon or something but you only get basic research skills here. (Note- I will list available research abilities and items later when someone builds the library. Well, at least the school. Once someone gets the school I'll list some abilities HERE so you can decide to get this or something else.) Prerequisite- School Cost- 9 turns
College Similar to the library. This allows you to make your peasants even better at their jobs. You can also research some moderate level skills and abilities here. Prerequisites- School, Library Cost- 11 turns
Research Lab This is where you can hire scientists and high tech scientists. Here you can choose to research more advanced skills and weapons. Only the best stuff comes from here and it usually takes a while to research something. Depending on how much things you have build and researched, you may be able to research Superweapons here. Superweapons are weapons of massive power however they wont become mentioned until you have the option to research/build them. Prerequisites- School, Library, College Cost- 15 turns
