"Inside the mind of kidgame- Kid's Big Adventure"

[Kid Game]

Alright I may as well get this started now. The first few chapters are basically what happened in that dream I had which I mentioned in the topic on whats up. Most of this is basically made up so it should make for an interesting story.

Anyways if you have any comments please leave them on the "New fanfic coming soon" topic on whats up, or if they are small then on the tagboard at the bottom of the message board.

[Kid Game]

Kid was in his house watching some horror movie on tv. He heard the door open so he got up to go look but found nothing. So he went back in the living room to watch the movie. He felt a cold breeze behind him.

He whirled around but so noone. When he turned back around to watch the tv, there was this girl there with 2 big butcher knives in each hand. Kid knew this was bad so he took the blanket he was holding and tossed it over her. He took another blanket and did the same, and followed it up by slamming a chair onto the blanket and girl.

He then turned and ran towards the door and ran out. He heard the girl getting up so he slammed the door quickly and propped a shovel up against it. He saw his dad in the car so got in the passenger side and yelled at him to floor it and get the hell out of here.

Not asking what was going on, his dad did so and they turned left out of the driveway and floored it out of there. Looking out of the rearview mirror he saw the girl run out of the driveway. She spotted the car and began to give chase.

However the car was much faster and quickly got ahead. Eventually kid told his dad to go left down lakewood road and they floored it down that way. It was a straight road for quite a few miles so they could go pretty fast. Luckily there was no traffic on the road, not even cops on nighttime patrol but this was to be expected at around 12:30 am in the morning.

Eventually they got up to Marshall's Corner so kid had his dad go right, down another long straight road. That girl chasing after kid was no longer in sight. However kid still wanted to get further away to be safe and he knew of an area where he would definitely be safe at.

Eventually they got to a part where they could go straight, or turn right to a road leading to a security complex. This was well over 50 miles from his house. There was no way that girl could get him now. They pulled up to a gate where a guard asked for ID. Kid showed ID and the guard went to the building and pressed the button to open the gate. They drove into the complex.

There were numerous spotlights, both in and out of the security complex and numerous guard towers and armed guards. Kid told his dad which building to drive to. As they got near the correct building, Kid swore he heard gunfire. It sounded like the guards at the front gate were shooting at something. But what could it have been?

They pulled into an open vehicle hangar, which shut behind them. Kid got out and walked up to a guard to tell why he was here. Suddenly the guards radio came to life.

"Requesting backup at the front gate. We are under attack by what looks like some girl. She came out of nowheres and is....OH MY GOD! Somebody do something its sucking his blood out. Wha- what the stay back.....back....SEND BACKUP!" then the radio fizzled out.

Kid got a look of shock on it his face. It was that girl but how the hell did she catch up so fast? She could not have ran that fast. No one could have. Several guards ran up to the front gate, accompanied by a light tank and 2 hummers with machine gun soldiers on top.

Kid picked up a nearby radio he saw and turned it on and to the frequency of the base. He heard screams and gunfire. Eventually there were more screams and less gunfire. This then turned to the sound of what was like something sucking blood or the life out of someone. There was soon silence. He then heard an explosion and looking out a window he made it in time to see the tank burning up. What the hell was this girl capable of and why was she after kid?

Kid took off to the elevator leading to the underground shelter while being escorted by a few spare guards that stayed back. When they got there the power suddenly went out and they were shrouded in darkness. They soon heard banging on the walls as if someone, or rather something, was trying to get in. The backup generator didnt kick on indicating something was up.

"We have to get in a vehicle and get to the other entrance. It's surrounded by that metal fence out in the field. If we can get in there we can get to the underground shelter. However we just have to hope we dont meet whatever is out there." a guard said.

"One vehicle is a sitting duck. That thing will come after us like a hawk. We'll need a diversion like another vehicle or two going in seperate directions. If we are lucky the creature will go after the other vehicles and give us time to get to safety." kid said.

The rest of the guards thought it was worth a shot so those brave enough to protect kid got in their jeeps or hummers and prepared to go. Kid got in another one and the 5 hummers and jeeps got in front of a door and waited. Suddenlt the doors opened and the vehicles shot off in all directions. There were 5 vehicles making it only a 20% chance the creature would get kids vehicle, and an 80& chance of getting the wrong one. However if it was really fast it would get the others and only buy kid a few spare minutes to get to the shelter.

Kid glanced out the window and saw the creature and it was going after the jeep that was going towards the main gate. Good. The diversion is working for now. Besides what else was going on something here was very wrong and weird yet kid didnt know it yet.

It was 12:30am when he was being chased. It was very dark out. It was only about 1:00am when they got at the base. Yet now it was around 11:00am and was light as day out. It was very weird how this happened yet kid didnt even notice.

Then they saw it. Up ahead was the big fenced in area. There was a rather small building and inside was the entrance to the underground tunnel. They just had to get in. The hummer stopped near the closest entry gate and the guards got out and proceeded to get their keys to open the lock.

Kid stood there impatiently. If they could just get inide then shut the gate and close they would be safe. As the gate was more like a dome and the metal gate and bars stopped anything from getting in. The only way in or out was through one of two gates. Suddenly kid saw something out of the corner of his eye. No way....it was that girl and she was flying towards him. She....it...whatever landed on top of the gate and stared with interest.

The guards rushed to open the gate and in the process dropped their keys in the mud. They scrambled to pick them up. Thats then the girl jumped off the gate and glided down to the ground. Kid watched as it walked up to the guards and grabbed the first. The girl bit into the mans neck and sucked out his blood as the guy screamed, then eventually lost conciousness and then died.

Another guard grabbed his handgun and pulled it out....but it got swiped away by the girls claws that seemed to come out of nowheres. She slashed the second guard that tried to plead for mercy but was shown none. The third guard ran off and the girl gave chase.

Kid took the chance and grabbed the key off the ground and gasped. There were at least 25 keys on the key ring so kid tried as many as he could to open the door. No luck. The door wouldnt open and kid knew he was out of time when he heard the last guards screams disappear.

[Kid Game]

Suddenly the girl turned towards kid and took out her butcher knives. The girl then spoke "Finally. Now we can fight in peace. Get ready."

The girl then started to run towards kid who kept trying to unlock the door. Finally he heard the lock click to unlocked. He opened the door and gasped as an arm went in front of his neck and tried to choke him, in the hand was a butcher knife, threatening to chop his head off.

"My your pretty weak. What a pitiful fighter. I can't believe someone like YOU was entered into the tournament. Well you are dead now but that was a pitiful fight. Time to die kid." the creature spoke again.

"Fight? What fight? I never entered any fight but if this is a fight theres a way out. I QUIT! I QUIT THIS FIGHT. YOU WIN. I never joined any tournament. I QUIT YOU WIN. Now please let me go." kid screamed out. However he wasnt expected the girl to let him go.

The creature suddenly looked excited. It released its grip on kid. It then got a smile on its face and laughed and then yelled out "YES! I won the first round. Good now I advance to the next round. If I'm lucky I get to go to the final round and fight him. I must reclaim our homeland."

"Umm excuse me, but who the hell are you, why the hell did you attack me, and who is this person you have to fight. And whats this about reclaiming our homeland." kid said.

The girl looked at kid and sighed. It then spoke back.

"Fine if you must know, but you should know already. Anyways my name is Nitara and I am a vampire. I attacked you because according to the tournament officials, you are registered to fight in the Mortal Kombat tournament. However you dont need to worry about that now since you just forfeited to me. That person I need to defeat is Shao Kahn since he took over my homeland. He slaughered most of my relatives and familes. I don't know how many survived if any survived. I could be the last of my kind. I don't know what to do now since the next round isnt until next month." Nitara said.

"Vampire? Those were extinct I thought that or they never existed. And mortal kombat isnt real. I've heard of it but it is simply a video game. It isn't real." kid said

"Believe what you want, but Mortal Kombat is very real. More then you could ever believe. And yes we vampires DO exist, we just hide and keep low profiles. If people knew of our existence or where we lived then they would try and hunt us to kill us." Nitara said.

As they were talking something else happened. The cage surrounding the underground shelter entrance had disappeared. In its place appeared a small fenced in metal area about 12 feet wide and 15 feet long. There was only one entrance and no way to get out. The entrance to the shelter was gone too.

Suddenly a convoy of vehicles drove up. It stopped in front of the new 12 x 15 area and another vehicle backed up. The gate to this area swung open and a door on the vehicle opened. Suddenly several people were being thrown into the area or being forced in. One person tried to resist but when a gun was put to her head she stopped and ran into the area. Once they were in the gate shut and the vehicle drove away but another one drove to the gate.

The gate opened again and more people were forced into the area. Eventually there were around 30 people trapped in once the gate closed again and got locked up. Some fat man overseeing this was laughing.

"Good work people. Good work. We have them arrested and in custody. They won't be getting out for a while now." the man said to his men.

Kid and Nitara looked at the people in the cage as it was now called. Everyone was standing up and looking around all confused wondering what was going on. Kid noticed something. He knew those people....

"My family! My human family. HOW DARE YOU!" Nitara shrieked having seing a few people in the cell that she knew.

The fat man just looked at her and laughed.

"Human family? What the hell are you talking about now?" kid said.

"Well I wasnt born a vampire. I was a regular human once. But my family was put on a curse and would be subject to it unless I was turned over to the vampires. There was no choise I had too. My family didnt want me too but it was the only way to release the curse." Nitara stated.

Nitara went to open the door. As she did though it gave off an electric shock and knocked her into kid, causing both to fall. They got up. Kid looked closer and noticed that the 30 people in there were mostly women, and a few men too. As he stared he then knew that all 30 were his Co-workers from the grocery store he worked at! He wondered what the hell was going on.

He looked in the cage. He saw Jenny, Donna, Lynn, Linda, Nancy, Shana, Ashley, Stephenie, Kimberly, and everyone else he saw and worked with at the grocery store in town. He knew they never did anything wrong. He was certain that whatever they were accused of that they were innocent.

Kid then ran up to the fat man and grabbed the mans hands and queezed very hard. He was pissed and began screaming at the man.

"Alright Fatass I want to know why. WHY ARE THEY IN THAT JAIL CELL? They never did anything wrong. They are my Co-workers and some are even Her (points to Nitara) family. Now listen you piece of S***. WHY ARE THEY IN THERE???!" kid yelled.

The man just looked at kid and laughed. It seemed that he wasnt interested in answering.

Man: "Well I dont think I can answer that. But if they are your coworkers then my mission is accomplished. If some of them are even HER family, even better! We've got prisoners, hostages, whichever you prefer. I think they can stay in there for quite some time. I'm not letting them out and you certainly aren't either." the man said.

The man laughed again then punched kid in the chest and knocked him over. He then ran off. The mans wife laughed too saying something like "Good job honey.". Kid grabbed her but the mans wife said "I'm not talking and get the hell off of me" and double punched kid.

Suddenly it happened again. Things .....changed. Kid noticed right away. The field around started to disappear. Worse the jail cell with his friends and coworkers did too. They screamed for help and kid said "I will rescue you all. Some way somehow I will help" before the cage disappeared entirely.

Kid then noticed that he had somehow gotten inside of some GIANT fancy restaurant. There were several people around but noone he knew. However looking around he did notice that Nitara was put here with him. She was obviously enraged and as pissed off as he was. Kid knew this as she smashed a table.

Kid heard laughter and saw that fat man. He ran up the small steps to the area where the man was but the man stopped and turned to kid. Kid yelled "I'll get you you fucking scumbag. You are gonna die you rotten fucker." while holding up his middle fingers.

The man just grinned and laughed and simply replied. "Catch me if you can" before running off. He lost kid. Kid went back to Nitara and began to talk. They would have to go after that man. But just who was that man anyways?

Nitara was crying and kid tried to comfort her saying that they would get her. He offered that the two team up.

"I'll help you win the tournament any way I can. We can team up. You help me rescue my coworkers, I'll help rescue your family, also my coworkers." kid said.

Nitara looked up at him. "Fine. I don't know how you can help me win the tournament but whatever. Right now I want my human family rescued. We have to save them. We must also kill that fat bastard. Now what do we do?" she said as she asked kid what they should do first.

[Kid Game]

Kid and Nitara were about to explore the restaurant. Suddenly some people in the area spotted kid and called to him.

"Hey Joe come on over and sit down! We've been waiting for you. What took you so long to get here? You could have gotten detection for being late to this school trip. Now sit down with your friends and eat." said one of the boys who looked like one of kids friends.

Kid stood there and stared for a few moments. He noticed that the group of people calling for him looked a lot like his friends from school. He even noticed some of his school teachers. However kid knew this wasnt real and wasnt about to waste his time.

"Sorry but no thanks. Im not on some leisure school trip here. I've got better things to do. Youve already wasted enough of my time so if you dont mind I really must be going. Also, my name isnt Joe." kid said as he turned around and walked away.

The group of kids were shocked and wondered what was going on. They immediately went over to the table where the school teachers and administrators were sitting. Meanwhile kid was walking away with his friend Nitara. They had just walked up a small set of stairs when they heard another voice.

"JOSEPH! GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT! YOUR GONNA BE IN BIG TROUBLE NOW!" said one of the teachers who was yelling and was obviously upset. However kid knew better and just kept walking.

"As I said before I have better things to do then sit down and eat. I have mission objectives to complete and they dont include you" kid said without stopping.

This angered the teacher who picked up a glass and threw it at kid. However kid had no idea of this until he saw the glass fly by his face, narrowly missing him. The glass had instead shattered on a wall. Kid saw the glass and definitely knew his teacher would not attack him. Rather then keep walking they began to jog away.

The teacher had walked up the stairs and this time picked up a chair and threw it at kid. However kid saw it and ducked and the chair tumbled over the edge and hit a table on the lower level. Kid opted to run faster and so did Nitara after some knives and forks were thrown her way.

They got a good distance ahead but kids teacher was steadily falling behind. Once kid knew he had time he slowed down and knocked over several tables and chairs to create a mess and hold off the teacher. He then began running again. They spied an elevator up ahead and kid slammed his fist into the door open button. Luckily they opened right away.

Suddenly the teacher had appeared again, this time with the school administrator and principal. They had threw silverware at the two....but missed as the two ran inside the elevator. Kid promptly slammed his fist into the second floor button. There were other floors but he didnt care what floor just as long as it wasnt that floor.

Meanwhile the three employees of the school went to the elevator door and attempted to open it but with no success as it had began to move up. However the teachers didnt know what floor kid was going too. They immediately began looking around for a staircase to access the upper floors.

Several seconds later the elevator door opened and kid carefully peeked out into the hall of the 2nd floor. They saw noone at all but noticed they were on a balcony. They could easily see the lower level they had just came from and kid noticed the school teachers looking around. However they didn't see him yet. Kid intended to keep it that way. Otherwise they would rush the elevator and come up after him.

The balcony however had not much in the way of cover or items. There were a few potted plants hanging from the balcony. They were pretty much the only item that could be used as a weapon. Kid noticed the school teacher under the plant who was unwary of the situation. Kid tipped the plant over which spilled the dirt and mud, as well as the plant and its container, onto the head of the teacher. Kid and nitara then laid down on the floor as to not get seen.

The teacher let out a yell having being startled from being hit by the plant. The administrator and principal heard the yell and ran over to investigate. Kid and nitara meanwhile crawled forward and came up to a door. They stood up and kid opened it. It was a basic light brown door and led to the staircase. Kid and Nitara opted to walk up to the 3rd floor, rather then go down and apologize to the teachers.

They took their time walking up and came to the door to get on the third floor. They could have gone on up to the other higher floors but didnt yet. They opted to search the 3rd floor. They walked onto the third floor and from the looks of things it was one of the Kitchens. The kitchen was very large and something smelled nice.

As kid and Nitara searched the kitchen they had a feeling. They just had a feeling like they were being watched. Yet there was no one in the kitchen and no cameras were spotted. Kid spotted an ominous looking box that seemed to follow there every move.

They ignored it and continued on, grabbing some hot food that was carelessly left out. Kid found an AK47 laying on the table so he took it. He noticed that the cardboard box was in a different spot now, now located under a table.

They moved to the exit door to the next room. The box was now next to the stove.

"What the hell? Since when do boxes get up and follow people"? kid said.

Getting an idea, he walks over to the box and picks it up..........and spots something unexpected. Or is it expected? He was too confused but now standing before him was the legendary Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid games. How that was even possible kid did not know. But he figured since this other crazy stuff happened that something like this was to be expected.

"Where's Metal Gear? Answer Me!" Snake demanded.

"Metal Gear? You mean that giant robot thing? I've heard of it but I don't know where it is. I doubt such a thing exists in a restaurant." kid replied.

"WHAT! You know of metal gear? How much do you know? Are you one of them?" snake asked?

"Calm down Snake. I know its some secret military project, at least the one I heard about was. And one of who? I'm not one of anybody, I'm just myself." Kid said.

"How do you know my name?" snake asked

"Everybody has heard of the famous Solid Snake. I mean who hasn't? Anyways it's a good thing you are here snake. I could use your help getting out of this place. Though I know you trust very few people. I'll help you find Metal Gear if you help me out." Kid said as he asked Snake to join his adventure.

"Thats true I guess. You're right - I rarely trust anyone. I've got nothing better to do BUT if you do help me with Metal Gear I suppose I'll tag along with you. Just don't get in my way" snake replied.


Kid was now teamed up with Nitara from Mortal Kombat, and Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid.
The team went through the exit door and entered the next area. Kid wondered where he would be at next and who he would meet.
