The next mortal kombat game is definitly looking good. More characters and modes, this will definitly be a good game. From what I hear this game will have online modes. It will be the first MK game with online capabilities so it will definitly be popular.
MK Deception will be on the Playstation 2 and XBox but I heard a rumor that it WILL NOT be on gamecube. I saw that on G4 (The 24/7 video game tv channel) on Pulse (I think it was pulse. One of G4's game news shows.) They said the game was going to be on PS2 and XBox but it most likely wont appear on gamecube.
It has something to do with Midways financial problems or something along that line.
So what does everything think about this game? Anyone looking forward to it? Which version will you get? The ps2 or xbox one? I'll probably get the PS2 version since I play my PS2 more.
And what about MK Deception NOT appearing on gamecube. Do you think its a good thing or a bad thing? Should Deception be on the gamecube?
I think it should be.

Having it on the Gamecube will encourage people to have only that system. And since I hate Nintendo, it should not be put onto the GC.

The problem with gamecube is that a lot of its games are games for younger audiences. Not necesarilly a bad thing but every system needs some hardcore shooters.

Yeah I agree too. Most gamecube games are geared towards a younger audience so the gamecube needs a few games geared towards an older audience.

I played MK:D at a trade show a couple of weeks back. It's not that much different from the last one, but still pretty good.
One stage is a prison with Jonny Cage, etc, locked up behind bars.

I've given up on fighter games like that. I can never memorize (or rather, don't want to) any decent moves, and so I rely on button mashing or using the same attacks.

Man do I hate button mashers. I actually spend time trying to learn the special moves and get defeated by someone who is playing as a fast character and button mashes like her life depended on it.
Anyway, the Gamecube is geared at younger people, but I play one and love it and I'm 16 (probably not the main target). I don't know why you guys are hating.

Ooh, don't get me started on why I hate the 'cube.
On topic, I've also been people do a cheap defense, where they defend for far too long, then send a quick punch before defending again.
