Hi Im from lifebaka's forum and know lifebaka, l337vash, and possible a few others in real life. Anyway to the topic.
I cant decide what to do... I have a DS but now I regret buying it. In the next couple months there will be more PSP games out then DS games that have been announced for the next year. Most of the PSP games are getting great reviews and all but like 2 of the DS games are crap. On the other side of things, the PSP is extremely fragile to the point where most of them have screen defects from shipping... Ive read a dozen times about people who had to get a new PSP 6 times to get one that was in perfect condition out of the box! Also I heard that if you put any torque on it they shatter into a pile of computer parts. Oh and of course the price point. A PSP and one game is probably going to cost you more then $300. My DS and DS/GBA games are going to go the way of eBay (I can prolly get atleast $200 for them) so theres still a price problem... I do have some other crap I need to sell (like my M:tG cards and my retired Mage Knight collection if anyone is interested) but still Ill be completely broke afterwords.
The likely course of action for me is to sell the DS now and decide if I should buy a PSP later after they start shipping ones that will hopefully be in better shape. Also its likely that I wont buy a PSP at all and get back into Warhammer 40k, I finaly found a decent games store within resonable distance of my house that has tournaments and everything. Anybody have an opinion on this?

Well, do you have a GBA? If not, keep the DS, there are going to be some good GBA releases soon. And as far as Warhammer goes, if you like it, far be it from us to get it your way.

I had a GBA... but I sold it to help pay for the DS. Problem with WH40K (or WH fantasy) is its freaking expensive cuz your basicly buying reproduction art, and tin is expensive for those minis that come in tin. Including the rule books, paint, and tools (wich I already have besides the new core book) it could cost you $300-400 for the average army. More or less depending on your choice of army, but they all cost about the same in the end.
I think I prolly will sell it ($200 for the DS, 2 DS games, and atleast 6 GBA games cuz I keep finding more if anyone is interested before it goes to ebay) and decide what to spend it on later.

I'd sell the DS now - people may be looking for a cheap DS, especially since the price isn't dropping at this time. Buy a PSP when the price begins to drop and the release games become "old".
