How much would you get?

At the peak of my collecting, I had 1 card, given to me by a friend. So, if I still had it, I would say a couple of cents. Booyeah!

lol. back in my days of pokemon i had a charzard or whatever and i sold it for 40 bucks! Woot!

I had and still have a bunch of pokemon cards. Dont know how many. Ive probably got over a thousand. Mostly commons and all but ive got a good share of rare cards and a bunch of holo cards.

Pokemon used to be a good card game when it came out and I always bought cards. Now I rarely buy pokemon cards. When a new set comes out I buy a pack or two but thats about it.

Now I pretty much buy Yugioh, Magic the Gathering, and Neopets card games with a rare pack of pokemon cards to mix things up a bit.

My collections probably worth several thousand. I also have a venusaur, blastoise, and Charizard, three of the rarest cards from the base (first) set published. The ones I have are unlimited edition though not first ed. The charizard card in first edition can be worth over $200 dollars according to the Beckett Anime Collector magazine (formerly beckett pokemon collector). SCRYE magazine and Inquest Gamer also have charizard 1st edition listed at around $200.

I don't think I will sell them any time soon. I'm definitly going to hold on to them for a while. If certain cards are worth a lot of money then maybe I'll take them to the burlington or freehold malls because like once a month each mall pretty much has what I call a Card Convention where a bunch of vendors set up tables all on the lower floor and sell cards. They usually sell most card games that are hot and I think Ive seen some older card games. So maybe in a few years if the cards reach certain values I'll take them to a card convention at a mall and go to each vendor and see what each would pay me. Of course Id accept the highest offer. And what would I do with the money I might get? Simple. I'd buy a couple of booster packs of cards. Or if I got a LOT of money I'd buy some singles of rare (or super rare or ultra rare or secret rare) yugioh or magic or DBZ cards in 1st edition for like $60 or whatever each If I got that much. Or if I traded in a bunch of cards and got a few hundred Id probably buy a booster box of something (yugioh or DBZ or Magic) since boxes of cards usually go for around $100.

Nah, neither am I. It's a pity, because you can make quite a bit from buying/selling as kid described, but I don't really have the money now to buy some good card. I'll just save up instead, and wait for my bank balance to rise.

My plan doesn't work very well. I have $485 here (the rest is in some college fund in Timbuktu or somewhere) and after 8 months of interest, I have gained 11 cents.

I make more than that in a day by picking up foreign money off the ground.

LOL I had a lot of holos and such but I stoped playing a long time ago. I saw This little girl maybe she was about 9 or so in my other school and she was playing pokemon her deck was not good at all. so the next day I just came in with all my rares and just gave them to her . she was sooo happy lol she followed me around for the rest of the year saying I was her boyfriend :blushes: ah the wonders of being in a school that has all grades :sigh:

o gawd i have more than a binder full of pokemon with a few charizards one being a second edition if i sold them when they were more popular i would have a lot of money lol
