...or at least a new computer.
See, my old one was slow, mainly because it was second hand. Perhaps I should have become attatched to the circuits and cords that had been thrown into that second-hand, stuttering donkey of a computer, but I awaited with day with anticipation when it would appear in our garage sale.
And now it will, unless of course I get the supreme honour of battling with the groaning, sluggish heap of pre-year 2000 technology.
The new computer? Well, it apparently cost $2400, a price tag that makes me shudder, but with it I get a flatscreen 17"" monitor, pentium 1 processor, webcam, printer, scanner, fax machine and one exceedlingly fast internet explorer. Yes, I have been blessed.
I did say that it would take some weeks before I could get a new computer, but I'll admit that my estimation skills were abysmal in this instance. So, I'm back, after missing a few days of karma and almost getting caught in computer class for visitng Gamefaqs.
If you find this post to be too boastful, then too bad; this is my shining moment, when I finally get to say "I'm not destitute! I can afford a decent computer!" Even so, I'm still dancing for quarters every day.
