Killzone Deathmatch 1- "Dockside Depot"

[Kid Game]

The first killzone deathmatch will be at a dockside depot. There are parked ships and cargo ships for everyone to explore. Lots of places to hide. This is a basic deathmatch. The story arena will come up soon. I want to think up a good original idea for it.

Kidgame was a member of the ISA. He was sent in to a dockside depot in Florida. He had several ISA agents backing up. They were sent in to investigate a reported helghast disturbance. The depot was supposed to be abandoned, however intel had shown boats and cargo ships docking at the depot. Noone was supposed to be there but kid and his team were granted permission to investigate to find out whats up. He hoped that the place wasnt overrun by helghast.

Kid's team also included SeriousSam, as well as about 10 other men. Some of the 10 others were assault soldiers to help, 2 were snipers and there was a spy too. They had been at the depot for over an hour and had found nothing yet. There were 2 large cargo ships docked and the team investigated both but found them to be deserted.

They did not fully explore the depot yet. Over an hour of searching. For what? They didn't even know what they were looking for. There were rumors of helghast using the depot but so far none were found. If the depot was being used by the helghast they either werent there now, were unaware that kid's team was there, or the helghast were there watching.

Kid was getting bored and fast. He wanted to kill helghast but had found none. He was beginning to get ready to call off the mission and leave and take his men home back to HQ. However unknown to the team, several well hidden Helghast snipers were watching kid through their sniper scopes.

WEAPON GUIDE

These are the weapons of Killzone. Information and descriptions are mainly taken from US Playstation Magazine, Issue 80, May 2004.

Helghast

ALAT (fixed)
Here's a really big antiarmour gun emplacement.

Antiaircraft Gun (fixed)
Handy for those times when the enemy come out with dropships.

Machine Gun (fixed)
A small, but potent, gun emplacement.

Missile Launcher
Either single or triple-shot rockets here.

ADAT
An antitank gun that a person can carry.

Knife
Just a knife.

Battle pistol
A pistol that fires grenades.

Machine Pistol
A rapid-shooting pistol.

Designator
A rail gun of sorts that fires big, fast, explosive rounds.

Assault Rifle
Standard Helghast weapon. It's inaccurate, but shoots really fast.

Squad Cannon
A heavy fast-firing weapon that tears through infantry.

Light Machine Gun
Your basic rapidly firing rifle. Good for spraying an area.

Sniper Rifle
Look through this scope, and you get that weird orange Helghast-vision effect. Extremely accurate and powerful, but also very slow at firing.

ISA Weapons

Implaced Machine Gun (fixed)
Very dangerous at close range, these fast-firing bullets lose accuracy over longer distances.

Chain Machine Gun
The ISA's answer to the Helghast's squad cannon.

Grenade Launcher
You can rapidly pop off six grenades before needing to reload.

Missile Launcher Secondary fire is a laser, which the missile attempts to follow after launch. Primary fire is explosive and very damaging.

Assault Rifle
Not as fast, but more accurate and stronger than the Helghast's rifle.

Combat Knife
Again, just a knife. Can be thrown, too.

Grenade
Has a reasonably small blast radius, but the shrapnel shards will damage anyone nearby.

Pistol
Not espeically fast, but small, light and accurate.

Luger
A silenced version of the pistol, complete with sniper scope.

SMS
A compact submachine gun with a grenade launcher attatchment.

Shotgun
When you get within kissing distance, this ends the affair fast. Very slow to fire and reload, though.

Autoshotgun
Carries more rounds than the shotgun, and fires multiple times in a row, but has reduced power.

Sam was in kids team at the docks. They had found nothing and everyone was getting tired. They had found nothing and kid was about to call it quits. Suddenly the team heard a loud CRACK and jumped unexpectedly. They then heard a loud PING! on a nearby metal crate. Sam took a glance and then noticed a spot where a bullet impacted. He saw the bullet so he picked it up and examined it.

"This is a bullet from a helghast sniper rifle. DAMN IT! We're being watched by snipers. We need to take them out but where are they at?" Sam yells out.

The team took up defensive positions being several metal containers and crates. They then carefully tried to scan the horizon for where the snipers were at.

DB's favourite situation was where he got to snipe a couple of enemies from a distance, dispatching them before they could get off a shot. He had seen two ISA operatives in the area, and had fired a single shot at them.

He had missed purposely. He wanted to play with them, to prolong their deaths, rather than kill them quickly. He had two more clips with him. He had plenty of bullets left.

Everyone was behind adequate cover so the metal containers soaked up any rifle bullets fired at them. Sam continued scanning the rooftops of buildings looking for where the sniper fire was coming from. Another shot was fired but it missed horribly. It was almost as if the snipers were playing with them before they finished off the intruders.

Luckily though Sam had noticed the muzzle flash and knew exactly where the sniper (or snipers) was at. He aimed his Assault rifle at the location and peppered it with a clip of bullets. He hoped to hit the snipers, however they had good cover and from here it looked like all his shots missed.

However rather then waste more ammo he had a better idea. One of the regular soldiers had brought a Missile Launcher with them and extra rockets. Sam showed the soldier where to aim and told him to fire a missile there. If bullets couldnt hit the snipers, a Missile certainly would! Sam watched as the soldier aimed and fired a Missile which flew out and hit the area where sam said. Now the question was did the missile blow up the helghast snipers? Everyone ducked back behind cover and sam carefully looked at the area to see if the sniper(s) still lived.

DB had been seen, but fortunately the bullets had missed him. After Sam had stopped firing his machine gun, DB immediately began to move to a different position, along a walkway and behind a small set of rocks. Fortunately for him, he had left before the missile was fired, and had not been harmed.

Unfortunately, there was significant smoke and dust in the air now, so DB had no idea where the ISA operatives were. At least for the moment.

[Kid Game]

Before the rocket was fired kid noticed a small door under the walkway which led into a warehouse of some sort. Kid had an idea. He quickly told sam and the 10 CPU teammates to stay here and cover him. There was still tons of smoke so kid began to ran up to the door. He got there just as the smoke dissipated.

He slowly opened the door and looked in. It was empty save for a few open crates which had helghast weapons in them. It was filled with different helghast pistols and assault rifles but no explosives. He left them there and opted to keep his own Shotgun, SMS, and pistol. However he did take some hand grenades that were in the crate.

He spotted a small ladder in the back of the room. He looked around first and saw the room was dark save for the electric lights in the room. No skylights, no cameras so no way the helghast DB knew kid was in here. He slowly made his way to the ladder and climbed up.

He found himself in a small supply shack that was devoid of enemy units. There were more weapon crates and some health kits on the wall. No windows to see outside. Kid opened the door and saw a wall before him. He wasn't at the walkway yet but it was behind him he knew that. He walked out and looked around and went right. He looked right again and his suspicion was right- there was the walkway. Kid was sure that DB was up there somewhere but he had to be careful. He didn't want to alert his enemy. He had his shotgun out and carefully moved closer to the walkway.

Suddenly he saw a shadow up ahead. He took out a grenade which had a 5 second timer. If he pulled the pin and tossed it now, DB could hear it and run off. However if kid waited a few seconds and "cooked" the grenade then tossed it, it was certain to catch DB in the blast. So kid pulled the pin and waited for 2 and a half seconds. He then tossed the grenade which clinked on the ground and bounced, coming to a halt next to the shadow. In less then a second it would detonate and hopefully kill DB if he was standing there.

DB was standing on the walkway...but not by Kid. The grenade blast killed one Helghast soldier with ease, and knocked another off the walkway. DB was suddenly alerted, and moved along the metal catwalk to a long rocky path along a cliff, where reinforcements were lurking.

"Get into defensive positions," said DB.

He got down onto his stomach, and trained his sniper rifle on the catwalk he had just crossed. If someone else tried to cross it, he would know.

[Kid Game]

Kid grinned upon seing one helghast die. However he only thought there was one helghast soldier there and didn't expect more. Thus, he was surprised when he heard one scream as he toppled over the railing. He then heard several soldiers running the other way on the metal walkway. Kid peeks around the corner and heard a sniper rifle being fired so he quickly ducked back behind cover. He was right in doing so as a bullet hit the railing and sparked.

He then remembered seing a small rocky cliff area and wondered if DB retreated there to a more defensive position. From cover he bends down and grabs his radio out.

"That grenade killed 1 helghast and sent the other tumbling over the railing. I think there might be more helghast in the area then anticipated. I believe that the remaining helghast on the metal walkway were alerted at the grenade blast and ran to that rocky cliff area for cover. I can't run out since I'll probably be sniped. Perhaps you can get our bazooka man to fire another rocket but at the cliff and hope to take out the helghast." Kid said to sam.

"Affirmative. I did see them run and they did go to the cliff, however I don't know where at. We do have a somewhat open shot though, so I'll get our bazooka man to fire a rocket at the cliff. Maybe we can blast those helghast. If not we can always call in an airstrike and bomb them to death." sam replied.

Sam then turned to the bazookaman who had a rocket loaded and ready. He then told the bazooka man to fire a rocket up at the cliff and hope that the blast would take out some of the helghast hiding up there. The man obliged and aimed the rocket. He saw the perfect spot to fire at so he pulled the trigger and fired.
