Alright Nintendo's next gen system was going to be called the Revolution. I think the name Revolution was great. Then I was shocked when I went to Gamespot/Ign and some other sites and found out about the revolution getting the name changed to the Wii.
Well Nintendo is always coming up with new and original ideas. I'm not really sure what I think of this new name. Right now I personally don't think the Wii is the best name for a game system, but Nintendo is probably right when they say the name will grow on you. I'll probably learn to like it. I like pretty much any game as most people should know.
Sure it's still going to have the controller that looks like a Remote control but thats definitely something original for playing games. I've read about some Wii games and I've read about 1 or 2 I like. I'm just curious as to what other new games will be announced. Im sure everyone has heard of E3, the biggest gaming event each year with new previews on upcoming games. Nintendo will probably announce plenty more Wii games there.
I'll have to keep finding out what other games will come out. I can say I am definitely excited to see how the Wii games will work with the remote control controller. We should definitely see some great games for the Wii.
