The letter "L" in lower case. llll. See?
Note: Maybe I'll add more hints into what the characters say. This is rather unfair, after all.

The console flashed red again. Fortunately for Kid there was no limit for how many wrong answers he could type in (hee hee!).
Gareth moved closer, not wanting to alert the zombies. "I'm not sure about this...but you have a word in between several lines. What is that word? Put it all together! Read between the lines Kid! What does it say!"

A word in between several lines? read. I already said that.
once again kid typed in "read" though if it failed before he was sure it would fail again.

The console flashed red again. Then it dawned on Kid. Gareth had just said the right answer without even knowing it!
He thought back on his past conversation:
"...but you have a word in between several lines. What is that word? Put it all together! Read between the lines Kid!"
That was it! Gareth had said the answer! What is it?

Put it all together? Kid thought it was a crazy idea. For the hell of it though he typed in "lrlelaldl" and pressed enter. He doubted it would work though. He prepared to once again see the popular red light flash.

Damn you! Listen!
Gareth said it! Look at the words he said!
I'll have to make sure my riddles are a little clearer. Sorry.

Sorry, as I said, I've never been good at riddles. The only time I get them right is if I cheat and get the answers from someone else. That part that kid whispered to gareth? Its actually true. I did have a few pages of riddles which I got extremely low scores on. I got a few right because I was lucky. -----
Kid was beginning to get frustrated. Suddenly he looked a big closer. He then thought about what gareth said. He then had an idea of what it meant. Kid thought, "no it couldnt be that"
He then typed in "Read between the lines" into the console and then hit enter. He wondered if that was the answer.

The console flashes green! Read Between the Lines! You should take note of any hints your allies give you (hint hint)
The next riddle pops up:
I have a ball. In what direction must I throw it in order to have it move in that direction, stop completely, then come back to me?
"Damn," Gareth said, "They keeping ramping up the difficulty. I bet it will continue to go up as we complete these riddles."

"Oh, this is an easy one." kid thought to himself.
He typed "up" into the console and hit the enter button

The console flashes green!
The final riddle appears on the screen:
What starts with "e" ends with "e" and contains only one letter?
Kid began to ponder...

Kid grinned. He had actually heard that one before and had recently seen it in an email before the incident began. He had this one nailed.
He typed in "envelope" and hit enter. He was 110% certain the console would turn green. Since it was the 3rd riddle he wondered what would happen next.

Damn you. Now this is too easy.
The option to turn on the sprinklers appears, and can be turned on at any time.
Suddenly, a final riddle pops up. If Kid answers it, he may get something speical! Of course, he doesn't have to answer it, and can continue the story without trying it.
How many times does the letter "s" appear in the name of the longest river in the world?
Option 1: Guess the riddle!
Option 2: Activate the sprinklers, then get out of there before the zombies get you.

Option 1.
At first BM waited. Then he saw muzzle flashes off in the distance. He fired several 9mm shots in that direction hoping to kill whoever shot him.

BATTLEMEISTER 0 space - Flamethrower - Acid Grenade - Flamethrower fuel - Knife - Green herb - 9mm handgun (25/30)
BM had fired at his attacker numerous times, but had not scored a hit, for whoever was shooting at him had plenty of cover. BM, having revealed his position, was an easy target now for the sniper.
Another shot zipped by BM, then another, and then BM was grazed in the shoulder by another bullet. He fired back, moving across the courtyard. Suddenly he saw the door to the Racoon Police Department swing open. He hadn't been able to see exactly what had opened the door, so it could well be a zombie.
Option 1: Ignore that. Fire at the sniper again.
Option 2: Fire at whatever opened the door. It could be your only chance.
Option 3: Make a break for the door. The sniper won't be able to find you, then.

Option 3.
BM decided to save his ammo for later. He obviously wasnt going to win against the sniper with only a handgun and a limited range flamethower. He noticed the door swing open to the station. Without further thought he bolted off towards the door hoping that he could get inside to safety and rescue anyone left.

Option 1.
Ketsumi grips his gun again, and peeks through the hole. Seeing nothing through the smoke and dust, he steps throught to get a better view.

KETSUMI 3 space 9mm (39/45) SMG (40/40) Knife Signal Flare Allies: Virginia Ackert (Combat knife)
Ketsumi steps through the hole, and after several seconds of dust flying into his face and smoke filling his lungs, and find the tunnel leads to the subway, where he finds Virginia, holding a combat knife. She runs over to him.
"At last you've found me!" she shouted, "Where have you been?"
"What exploded?" replied Ketsumi.
She pointed at a grenade pin. "Some creatures attacked me. Fortunately I found a grenade."
Ketsumi looked around. Gasoline cans littered the area, and shards of one were near the hole. Apparently it had exploded along with the grenade. As this was a subway, there were trains too. Unfortunately, the trains had stopped in the tracks, and blocked the path. To the right was a small office. That could get the trains moving again. You could also use the gas cans to blow a hole through those trains so you can move on.
You also hear sounds behind. "They're coming!" Virginia screamed. You don't have much time, and you don't want to go back through that hole and meet those monsters.
Option 1: Go to the office, and try to get those trains moving again (riddle time!)
Option 2: Use the gas cans cans to blow apart the trains and carve a path for yourself. (Requires the use of the signal flare).
SERIOUS SAM 1 space Combat Knife 9mm Handgun (45/45) Western custom shotgun. (24/24) Double green herb. First aid spray
Remember, you may need the extra space later in the story!
Sam had been shopping at the mall when the power had gone out, and suddenly he found zombies attacking all those who hadn't mutated.
He was on the third floor, the food court, but there was a secure area over to the right, where power was managed. At that moment, Sam wasn't under any immediate threat. He had heard gunfire a short while ago, and parts of the floor below were on fire. In fact, that fire was spreading to this third floor, so Sam wanted to get away as fast as he could.
Where would he go?
Option 1: Go to the secure power room.
Option 2: Visit the shops. You could find something interesting.
Option 3: Get out of the mall before it catches completely on fire.

(First off, DB you forgot to mention battlemeister. Check page 5. He did reply and I dont see your reply back to him)
Option 2.
Kid didnt want to do any more riddles. He pressed the button to activate the sprinklers. They came on and began to spray water on the fire.

EDIT: The new level of health is now "yellow fine", displayed in a nice orange color.
BATTLEMEISTER 0 space - Flamethrower - Acid Grenade - Flamethrower fuel - Knife - Green herb - 9mm handgun (25/30)
You run for the door, bullets followng you from the roof...and are suddenly attacked by a zombie once you enter! You collapse to the ground with it on top of you, trying to prevent in from biting your neck.
You land beside a small lamp, and realise that you could use the power from this lamp to electrocute the zombie. Or you could use your knife. Or maybe you want to use brute strength to get it off.
Option 1: Electrocute it using the lamp.
Option 2: Stab it with your knife.
Option 3: Force it off with your significant strength.
KIDGAME - 0 space 9mm handgun (45/45) Uzi (42/60) Combat knife First Aid Spray x2 Green Herb x 2 Flashlight Allies: Gregg Black (Tactical Shotgun, 15/18), Gareth Saunders (Uzi, 23/40)
The sprinklers begin showering the entire mall with a gentle stream, and the fires soon go out. That is, except for one patch on the third floor, where the sprinkler system had been damaged.
Of course, Kid didn't need to fix it. He didn't have much reason to go up there. The important thing now was to reach the chopper, not put out fires.
"Let's get to that helicopter!" Gareth shouts.
"But do you know where it is exactly?"
Kid shook his head. He knew the address...vaguely...but he wasn't familiar with the entire city.
"There's a map store nearby!" Gareth shouted.
Option 1: Go back to your car and go to the helipad.
Option 2: Go to the map store. But you'll have to kill or evade that large group of monsters first. And they may not be too pleased you get them all wet!
Option 3: Fix the sprinkler.

Option 2.
They could have just gone to his car and drove to the helipad. However kid didn't know where the helipad was exactly. He wasn't even familiar with the city that much. It was decided that the 3 would go to the map store and try to find a map leading to the helipad. Hopefully though the group of monsters wouldnt notice them though kid doubted that now that sprinklers were on.
